Shine Collective Boutique is an utterly fabulous fashion alcove impounded with chic, stylish threads nestled in Hampden, Baltimore.  It is owned by the lovely Melissa and Jamie who have been working very hard to make Shine an exclusive and trendy place to shop. The boutique’s racks of clothes are embedded with a retro essence that is underlined by a vintage flare. I fell in love with the dresses. One had vibrant movement and an attractive print, which I am sure will excite a mini-war with the right two women vying for the same size. Their enchantment does not end at ladies fashions as they also have a nice selection of t-shirts for men which are simply irresistible. I eyed a few that I will be sure to acquire. Eclectic jewelry is Shine’s sleeper hit, a must have, and surely the result of a girl’s most fantastical dream. The treasure chest of jewels at Shine is vast, and styles range from earthy stone bracelets to hard core leather flower shaped earrings.

While exploring the racks, one has the pleasure of viewing passionate art which scatters across the walls of the boutique because they love to give local artists an outlet to produce. They also celebrate the artist’s work by having an open party for everyone to come see the artwork, which is usually the first Friday of every month. Trust me when I say the store is nothing but luster, and I live and love the owners as well as their sensibility in merchandising and decor. Stop in and take a gander; you will not be disappointed.
